DocuSign Emails - How Can You Tell If They're Real?
With client permission, we have been sending documents for electronic signature using "DocuSign". Coincidentally we have recently received some spam emails claiming to be from DocuSign and thought we should alert you to the possibility that you may receive these as well.
So, how can you tell if it's a real email generated by us, requiring your signature? It is easy if you note the following:
1. the email address should be firstname.lastname@example.org
2. there will be a personalised message from us above the link in the email.
One of the requirements we looked for when choosing our digital signature provider was how much security they offered. DocuSign has great security measures in place to protect your details but unfortunately they can't stop spammers pretending to be them.
Of course, you are always welcome to check with us if you're not sure the email is real and we'll be able to confirm it came from us. If you are in any doubt – please contact us to confirm.
