Proposed Payment Terms for Small Business Suppliers - 22 November 2017

The government has moved forward to introduce a 15-business-day payment term for small business suppliers following pressure from the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO) to introduce legislation that will set a maximum payment time for big businesses to pay their small business suppliers.

This week, one of our staff members received an email claiming their address book had been hacked and demanding a ransom. Fortunately, our practice has security systems in place to prevent these issues, and we were easily able to determine this as a fake.
