Praemium is a portfolio reporting service that maintains and reports on your portfolio by updating share transactions, processing corporate actions and recording any income you should receive from the portfolio. Delivering intra-day pricing and detailed market data, Praemium gives you even more powerful portfolio modelling, administration and management. We currently administer Praemium for a majority of our self managed superannuation funds with the possibility of expanding to other large portfolio’s.
For a demonstration please view the recording via the link below. We suggest you read the FAQ’s before viewing the demonstration as these may answer some of your questions.
We arrange for share contracts to be sent direct from your brokers to Praemium, your portfolio is then updated with the share trades. Bank transactions and non-broker share transactions have to be uploaded manually by us. Praemium can then match the share transactions and share income to the bank account.
Nothing for self managed superannuation funds (SMSF). We use Praemium to integrate with other software we use. We bear the cost of Praemium as we recover this in our improved efficiency.
All portfolio’s are currently up to date at 30 June 2008. As such we only need to update share transactions from 01 July 2008 onwards. We update this when preparing the 2009 annual accounts.
At the moment we only have Praemium setup for our SMSF’s however we will consider setting up any large portfolio’s on Praemium. For non-self managed fund portfolios, there will be a cost as at this stage there are not the same efficiency gains available.
Overells has the license over the software. Clients are not required to sign up or complete onerous paperwork.
No. Praemium only updates for share transactions through your broker. Transactions such as off market transfers, share purchase plans, rights issues, term deposits, property purchases etc have to be updated manually.
Most of the reports in Praemium can be copied and pasted in Excel.
